Vietlott collects an average of nearly 22 billion VND per day

In 2024, Vietlott will achieve revenue of 7,915 billion VND, equivalent to an average of 21.68 billion VND per day.

According to information from Vietnam Lottery Company (Vietlott), this enterprise recorded strong growth in 2024 business results compared to the previous year. Vietlott’s revenue increased by 25% to VND 7,915 billion, exceeding 16.4% of the plan assigned by the Ministry of Finance. This number corresponds to an average revenue of 21.68 billion VND per day.

Revenue through traditional agent channels is more than 4,180 billion VND, accounting for 53%. The remaining revenue from the telephone ticket sales channel is about 3,727 billion VND.

The company said that last year it spent 55% of revenue, equivalent to about 4,260 billion VND, to pay prizes for 23.4 million winning tickets. Mega 6/45 and Power 6/55 lottery products have 98 Jackpot winning tickets worth billions. In particular, Vietlott recorded 2 tickets winning Jackpot 1 of Power 6/55 with the largest prize ever, of 314 billion VND in the drawing in April 2024.

After 8 years of business, by the end of 2024, Vietlott has about 6,300 points of sale nationwide. With the phone distribution channel, the company has more than 2.5 million accounts.

Last year, this enterprise contributed nearly 2,100 billion VND to local budgets, an increase of 300 billion compared to the previous year. This is revenue from value added tax (VAT 10%), special consumption tax (15%), personal income tax of the winner (10%), corporate income (20%) and profits. remaining profit. According to Vietlott, each ticket is worth 10,000 VND, players contribute nearly 3,000 VND to the budget. It is expected that this year, the company plans to release more new products to serve the legal entertainment needs of Vietnamese people.
