According to them, the dental structure of the bottlenose dolphin and the nerve fibers of the jaw look like the distant echoes of the sea could also be transmitted to the brain through the teeth.

It is already known that the dolphin’s chin and forehead resonate. But if the teeth also have hair-thin innervation, the dolphin may hear more precisely than previously known.
