Lenovo brings cutting-edge technology to the work environment with the ThinkBook Plus Gen 6 rollable laptop

Lenovo has announced that this summer it will begin marketing its ThinkBook Plus Gen 6 roll-up display laptop, which has gone from a proof of concept to a fully equipped device to meet the demands and needs of companies in the work environment.

The technology manufacturer has taken advantage of its presence at CES 2025 in Las Vegas (United States) to present new devices, including desktop computers (ThinkCentre) and laptops (Yoga), as well as tablets and other accessories.

Lenovo has also presented its latest Copilot+ PCs aimed at businesses and adapted to cutting-edge workplaces and professionals, such as ThinkPad X9 Aura Edition 14 and 15 inches. They are equipped with Intel Core Ultra processors and advanced AI tools such as Lenovo AI Now, to automate tasks and optimize workflows.

These Copilot+ PCs, which have been designed to withstand the high demands of daily professional use, include a main node or ‘engine hub’, that is, a special housing for critical connections and components that optimizes cooling and performance.

ThinkBook Plus Gen 6, For its part, it is presented as an AI-enhanced rollable PC for professionals and developed with Lenovo Research. First introduced two years ago, this product has grown from an innovative proof of concept to a fully featured product.

By expanding vertically from a compact 14-inch OLED display – when it has a 19.9 mm profile and a weight of 1.7 kg – to a 16.7-inch panel with the touch of a key, users gain almost a 50 percent additional screen space.

This computer is also equipped with an edge-to-edge keyboard, is powered by an Intel Core Ultra processor, Intel Arc graphics, and connectivity options that include Thunderbolt 4 and WiFi 7.

TABLETOP AND ACCESSORIES

Lenovo has also presented various desktop solutions from the ThinkCentre family, including ThinkCentre M90a Pro Gen 6, an AI-powered all-in-one PC, featuring a 27-inch QHD display, noise suppression and directional audio.

In the same category, ThinkCentre neo 50q QCthe first commercial desktop device powered by Snapdragon X Series, offering AI-powered workflows; and ThinkCentre neo Ultra Gen 2, a machine that has greater capacity than its predecessor, thanks to its Intel Core Ultra processor and Thunderbolt 4 ports.

To complement these launches and improve productivity, the firm has launched ThinkVision P Series monitors, a new generation of professional monitors with great dynamic color accuracy, which are distinguished in six models: P34WD-40, P32UD-40, P27QD-40, P27Q-40, P24QD-40 and P24Q-40.

These have a variable refresh rate from 24 Hz to 120 Hz and come with the AI ​​Power Solution as standard. In this way, it dynamically adjusts the backlight and pixel intensity to optimize consumption without compromising quality.

Finally, the brand has expanded its catalog aimed at companies with a self-charging Bluetooth keyboard, ThinkPad X9 accessories – the X9 Edition multi-device wireless mouse and TWS headphones, among others – as well as QHD and 4K Pro webcams.

PRICES AND AVAILABILITY

The first laptops for the work environment will arrive in February, with a price starting at 1,549 euros in the case of the ThinkPad X9 Aura Edition and from 1,689 euros for the largest 15-inch model. Later, in April, it will be the turn of the Lenovo ThinkCentre M90a Pro Gen 6 (1,199 euros) and Lenovo ThinkCentre neo 50q (429 euros).

In summer, and more specifically in June, Lenovo ThinkVision P34WD-40 (899 euros), Lenovo ThinkVision P27Q-40 (399 euros), ThinkVision P27QD-40 (559 euros), ThinkVision P24Q-40 (349 euros) and ThinkVision P24QD-40 (399 euros). Lenovo ThinkVision P32UD-40 (1,199 euros), on the other hand, will be available from the second quarter, but without a specific date.

The last launches of this batch will arrive in July and August: ThinkCentre neo Ultra Gen 2 will go on sale for 1,679 euros and Lenovo ThinkBook Plus Gen 6 rollable, from 2,799 euros, respectively.
