The Croatian impressed in the fourth division and will soon make his debut in the Bundesliga

Wing attackč Noah Pesh (19) moved from Leverkusen to Borussia (M) this summer. For the second team, which competes in the fourth German league, he collected 13 goals and seven assists in 18 games. Now he is attached to the first team.

Pesch’s father Manfred is German, mother Klaudija is from the Zadar area, and Noah plays for Croatia U-19, although he previously played for Germany. His older brother, Leon Mate, also played for the younger Croatian categories, and today he is a member of the German fourth league team Eintracht Hohkeppel.

According to Klaudia, Noah is very attached to his grandfather from Croatia, and it was because of him that he chose the Croatian national team. Great games in the second team earned him entry into the senior team, and on December 14 last year he was on the bench in a 4-1 victory against Holstein Kiel. His games are monitored by Ivica Olić, who invited him to the U-21 national team last summer.

– My heart goes out to Croatia and Germany through mom and dad. At the last European Championship, my mother asked: “What if Croatia and Germany play somewhere? We will have a problem”. I told her: “There won’t be any problems, I will support Croatia”. But I chose Croatia because of my grandparents, who, since I was four years old, never missed a single one of my matches, they drove me to training in all kinds of weather. Then, because of my brother Leon who is olderć played for Croatia, while I was on the list of the German youth national team. “I am honored and proud to play for the country of my grandparents,” said Pesch on one occasion.
