Nikola Karabatic, handball icon, new consultant for BeIN Sports

French handball legend Nikola Karabatic, retired since this summer, is joining BeIN Sports as an all-sports consultant, the two parties announced on Monday. Karabatic, who retired at the age of 40 after the Paris Olympic Games, will appear on the channel on Wednesday and the preparation match of the French handball team for the World Cup (January 14-February 2 in Croatia, Norway and Denmark), against the Czech Republic in Strasbourg.

During a video broadcast on the occasion of the presentation, at the handball house in Créteil, of the BeIN Sports system for the World Handball Championship, he also indicated his presence during the two NBA matches relocated to Paris, the January 23 and 25. A “big fan” of basketball and American football, Karabatic will also speak at the NBA finals in June, the Superbowl on February 9 in New Orleans and the Wimbledon tennis tournament.
