Nitro Blaze 11, Acer’s portable console proposal with an 11-inch screen

Nitro Blaze 8 and Nitro Blaze 11 are two portable console proposals that allow access to users’ video game libraries in the cloud, and that speed up this process with the dedicated hot key that leads directly to the Acer Game Space application.

Both devices feature Hall Effect triggers and sticks, while the Nitro Blaze 11 also includes detachable controllers for individual and connected play, plus a built-in kickstand, front-facing camera for video calling and streaming.

They are powered by AMD Ryzen 7 8840HS processors with Ryzen AIand with up to 144Hz (8.8-inch or 10.95-inch) WQXGA touch displays with 500 nits of brightness, combined with AMD Radeon 780M graphics, Radeon Super Resolution and AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution technology for fast graphics and frame scaling no tears.

They offer 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM at 7500 MT/s and up to 2TB of PCIe Gen 4 NVMe storage, as well as DTS:X Ultra audio and connectivity with USB 4 (Type-C), USB 3.2 (Type-C) ports and support for WiFi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3.

Along with portable consoles, Acer has presented Nitro Mobile Gaming Controller, a plug-and-play controller that is compatible with Android and iOS smartphoneswhich connects with a USB Type-C port, and has an adjustable design that adapts to screens up to 8.3 inches.

The Acer Nitro Blaze 8 (GN782U) and Nitro Blaze 11 (GN7112U) portable consoles have been presented at CES 2025 in Las Vegas (United States), and will be available in several markets around the world starting in the second quarter of this year. , from US$899.99 and US$1,099.99, respectively.
