Huhtamäki’s board appointed Ralf K. Wunderlich as the new CEO

The new CEO will start his duties on January 15.

Packages the board of the manufacturer Huhtamäki announces that it has appointed Ralf K. Wunderlichin as the company’s new CEO. He will start in the role on January 15, when the current CEO Charles Héaulmé resigns from his position.

“Ralf K. Wunderlich has very strong experience in managing international packaging businesses, excellent operational experience and the ability to assemble top teams to produce great results. Growing businesses both organically and through acquisitions is his special expertise,” says the chairman of the board Pekka Vauramo in the bulletin.

After Wunderlich was appointed to the position of CEO, he immediately resigned from Huhtamäki’s board. After this, the board has seven members.

According to Vauramo, the chairman of the board, Charles Héaulmé did an excellent job as CEO of Huhtamäki.

Under Charles’ leadership, the company has made significant progress on its journey to become the first choice as a provider of responsible packaging solutions and to update its 2030 growth strategy,” says Vauramo in the press release.
