Laeticia Hallyday announced this Thursday, January 9 on her Instagram account that she had lost her house located in the Pacific Palisades district during the fires that have been devouring Los Angeles for several days. According to The Parisian Laeticia Hallyday moved to this house on the heights of Pacific Palisades with her daughters in May 2021 after the sale of their first property.

Moved, the widow of Johnny Hallyday shared this sad news in a long text: “ We lost everything… There’s nothing left. I saw our house go to ashes, helpless in the face of the flames which took everything away. This video haunts my heart. It wasn’t just a house…It was our refuge, our rebirth after the chaos of grief. It is between these walls that we healed our wounds, that we learned to live with absence, to rebuild days lit by love despite the shadow of loss. It sheltered our dreams, our secrets, our promises for tomorrow. But above all, she helped us get back on our feet, to rebuild ourselves after the unimaginable absence of my husband. This house was our refuge in the chaos of grief, our anchor when everything seemed to be falling apart. Everything has disappeared… and with it, a part of my soul. The sorrow is endless. »

The 49-year-old woman then gave her support to all the people who have suffered and are suffering the same fate: « I think of my neighbors, of my friends of those who lost everything, of this village of Pacific Palisades that we loved so much for 17 years and which gave us so much. We are devastated, but together we will try to be reborn one day, even in the midst of these ruins »declared Laeticia Hallyday.

Although this residence contained many memories of their life, notably with Johnny Hallyday, a large part was no longer on site at the time of the fire. Indeed, according to The Parisian : « Objects that had been removed from the property and repatriated for the exhibition « Johnny Hallyday » in 2023 and 2024 in Brussels then Paris, including his splendid blue AC Cobra sports car, are still kept in France. And were therefore miraculously spared. »

In her Instagram story, the widow of our late king of rock continued to share her pain: « Our house, our village. In an instant, everything we built, everything we loved, was reduced to ashes. The walls that held back our laughter, our dreams, our lives have been swept away. On Instagram, the 65-year-old singer gave news from his house located in Los Angeles in order to reassure his community: « Just to reassure you, there was no one in the house and the children are safe. At this time it is impossible to know if the house is still standing. »

A few hours later, his ex-wife Amanda Sthers and mother of his children (Oscar and Léon) gave more specific news from her ex-partner’s house during an interview granted to Telematin : « We have no news from their dad’s house which is in Pacific Palisades and which seems to have disappeared in the flames.
