STOCK EXCHANGE: Bill opening in Helsinki – Nordea is the most traded bill on the stock exchange

The Helsinki Stock Exchange opened lower on Thursday. The OMXH general index was down 0.3 percent at 9,592.55 points shortly after the start of trading.

Taaler has a new CEO

Capital management company Talkative said the company’s CEO on Thursday by Peter Ramsay leaving his position. A new CEO has been appointed Ilkka Laurilawho starts in his position today, Thursday. Ramsay will serve in special positions on the board for the time being until July 8, 2025 at the latest.

Before becoming CEO, Laurila served as Taaleri’s CFO. A temporary CFO and member of the management team has been appointed Elina Lintualawho until now has worked at Taaler in financial management positions. Taaleri said that he will start recruiting a new CFO immediately.

A mining company Outokumpu updated the estimates of ore resources and mineral reserves of the Kemi mine. Ore reserves have increased by 95 percent. The increase is based on new underground drilling, which shows that the soil in the mining area is rich in chromium ore, which will extend the life of the mine. The ore reserves are significantly larger than previously estimated, totaling approximately 62.5 million tons instead of the previous estimate of approximately 32.1 million tons.

Shortly after the start of trading, Outokumpu’s share was close to Wednesday’s closing level.

Recommendation changes

Analysts received recommendation changes on Thursday Nordic for the stock. A US investment bank Jefferies lowered Nordea’s target price to 12.40 euros from the previous 12.70 euros and reiterated the buy recommendation. British Barlcays also lowered its target price for Nordea to 11.80 euros from the previous 12.30 euros. Barclays’ recommendation remained at the add level.

Inderes raised LeadDeskin the target price to 8.50 euros from the previous 8.00 euros and raised its recommendation to the buy level from the previous add level.

Nordea raised Konecranes the target price to 76.00 euros from the previous 73.00 euros and reiterated the buy recommendation.

The OP reduced Kone’s target price to 54.00 euros from the previous 56.00 euros and repeated the recommendation for more.
