CES 2025: Lenovo presents the first laptop with a rollable screen

Lenovo has taken a step forward with the launch of the ThinkBook Plus Gen 6 Rollable, the first laptop with roll-up screen aimed at the global market. The device, presented during CES 2025 in Las Vegas, seeks to redefine productivity by expanding vertically, allowing a 50% increase in display space with the press of a key.

This advance, the result of collaboration between Lenovo Research and the company, transforms a concept presented two years ago into a product ready for commercialization. The ThinkBook Plus Gen 6 Rollable offers a fluid transition from a 14-inch to 16.7-inch screen, adapting to the needs of users who require more space for multitasking, without compromising the portability of the device.

The new laptop is powered by Intel Core Ultra processors, which promise AI-optimized performance and superior energy efficiency. In addition, it integrates Intel Arc graphics, Wi-Fi 7 and Thunderbolt 4 connectivity, providing support for demanding tasks and allowing an agile and uninterrupted user experience. Its 120 Hz OLED display, with 400 nits brightness and 100% DCI-P3 color accuracy, reinforces its focus on delivering high-quality viewing.

Along with the ThinkBook Plus, Lenovo also introduced the Yoga Slim 9i, a laptop that incorporates under-screen camera technology, offering a 98% screen-to-body ratio. This feature enables a nearly borderless viewing experience, cementing Lenovo’s commitment to minimalist design and advanced functionality.
