At least four dead and three injured in a Russian attack on the kyiv region

At least four people have died and three have been injured in the kyiv region as a result of an airstrike launched by the Russian Armed Forces this Saturday morning, according to the head of the kyiv military administration, Timur Tkachenko.

“Unfortunately, in the Shevchenkiv district we already have four dead and three injured. In the Holosiivskyi district, the fall of a fragment without ignition was recorded,” Tkachenko reported on his Telegram social network account.

Previously, he warned of the Russian attack and urged the population to stay in shelters. “The alarm was declared due to the threat of unmanned aerial vehicles,” he stated.

The war in Ukraine broke out almost three years ago, when at the end of February 2022 the Russian president, Vladimir Putin, gave the order to militarily invade his neighboring country. Since then the conflict has progressed without apparent continuity and with the battle front lines stagnant.
