Israel | Current estimate of the cost of the war is 150 billion shekels

According to the Ministry of Defense and the IDF, the direct costs of the war currently amount to 150 billion shekels, Calcalist reports. Thus, the average cost of one day of war was about 320 million shekels.

Almost a third of this amount, 44 billion shekels, went to pay for the 49 million days of reservist service served by 220 thousand reservists.

Ammunition, including anti-missiles for missile defense systems, cost 38 billion shekels.

22 billion shekels were spent on the maintenance and operation of military equipment, 14 billion shekels on logistics, 12 billion on weapons systems, 9 billion on communications systems, computer systems and intelligence, 7 billion on construction.

4 billion shekels were spent on the rehabilitation of the wounded. Experts estimate that it will cost 3-4 billion shekels a year to rehabilitate the wounded over the next decade.
