Heliövaara and Patten to the quarterfinals at the Australian Open – the convincing performance continued

Harri Heliövaara and his British counterpart Henry Patten advanced to the quarterfinals of the tennis Australian Open in doubles by defeating the United States Austin Krajicekin and Rajeev Ramin 6–3, 7–6 (8–6).

Heliövaara and Patten, ranked sixth, have won all three of their matches in the tournament without losing a set. In the quarter-finals, they will face 15th placed Monaco Hugo Nysin and France Edouard Roger-Vasselinin.

Boys in the second round of singles play in the series Oskari Paldanius17, beat Sweden Ludvig Heden 6–3, 6–2 and advanced to the third round to the top 16.

Paldanius’ next opponent is Russia Yegor Pleshivtsevwho beat Italy Andrea De Marchin 6–2, 1–6, 6–1.

Paldanius is scheduled to play his opening doubles pair of the tournament later today Alan Wazny with.

The current year is Paldanius’ last junior year. He is 9th in the Junior World Ranking and is playing in the Australian Open for the first time.
