Syrian sources: IDF forces operate in Syria at a distance of up to 5 km from the border

Syrian sources report ongoing IDF operations in Syria. Reports emphasize that the Israeli military is establishing a foothold in the buffer zone.

In particular, it is reported that an IDF transport convoy was spotted near the Syrian border town of Kudana, several kilometers from the dividing line. The Israeli military is recorded carrying out excavation work and installing prefabricated houses in the area.

IDF forces entered the town of Al-Baath in Quneitra province. Based on available information, the Israeli military moved into the area to retrieve a fallen reconnaissance UAV.

Along Route 7, IDF forces reached Khan Arnabe, approximately 5 km east of the border. According to Syrian sources, this is the deepest penetration of the Israeli military into Syrian territory since the fall of the Assad regime. Judging by the available data, the advance of IDF forces in this area did not encounter resistance.
