Trump in favor of Musk’s purchase of Tik Tok

US President Donald Trump said he would be open to a purchase by the tech billionaire Elon Musk – owner of social media platform X – of the Chinese-owned app TikTok.

Trump announces new AI project

Stargate brings together Oracle, Japanese investment firm SoftBank and generative artificial intelligence start-up OpenAI. SoftBank chief Masayoshi Son said the joint venture will “start distributing $100 billion immediately,” with the goal of reaching a total of $500 in four years.

 

Donald Trump explained that this commitment is in addition to the one already made by Masayoshi Son in mid-December, relating to 100-200 billion dollars in investments in the American technology sector within four years. Oracle president and co-founder Larry Ellison stressed that the project focused primarily on building data hosting and processing centers, the famous “data center”.
