Viruses jump from humans to animals more often than from animals to humans

Influenza- and in the crossfire of coronaviruses, many people are calling for diseases to jump from animals to us.

Wild or domestic animals have also become new types of viruses that are difficult to tame, such as the ebola virus that causes hemorrhagic fever.

Risk is himself in fact, however, greater for animals. From their point of view, we act as a disease nest, because viruses have spread more often from people to them than from people to people.

It was noticed by British researchers who analyzed about 59,000 reads of the virus’s inherited signs of cross-directional transitions during the history of the development of viruses.

The bouncers were viruses belonging to more than 30 different types, and the targets were species of vertebrate animals from more than 60 orders.

A total of 64 percent of virus jumps between animals and humans have occurred from us to animals and only 36 percent from them to us, says the report In Nature Ecology & Evolution.

Animals and not only viruses, but also many disease bacteria from salmonella to plague bacteria and parasites from tapeworms to malarial parasites move between people, but these were not dealt with in this study.
