Russian President Vladimir Putin announces his desire to meet US President Donald Trump to “calmly discuss” issues of mutual interest.

“Most likely, it would be better if we, based on today’s realities, calmly talked about all the directions that are of interest to both the United States and Russia. We are ready,” Putin said in “Russia 27 in an interview given to the TV company.

Putin called Trump “not only a smart, but also a pragmatic person”, who, according to the head of the Kremlin, will not take decisions on sanctions that will harm the American economy.
