The Russian Ambassador to Azerbaijan was invited to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs

Russian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Mikhail Evdokimov was summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country, Azerbaijani media reported.

During the meeting, it was noted that “the publication of misinformation materials and the broadcasting of reports against Azerbaijan in the Russian press”, as well as some of Russia’s official circles, causes bewilderment. It was emphasized that such actions contradict the content and spirit of the Declaration on the Allied Cooperation between the two countries, the Azeri media reported, citing the Foreign Ministry.

Yesterday, the Azerbaijani Ambassador to Russia was invited to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The Russian side expressed its bewilderment in the Azerbaijani press to emerge anti-Russian publications on the occasion of a misinformation campaign against the “Russian house” in Baku. It was emphasized that the accusations were absolutely unfounded.

The main reason for the dissatisfaction of the Russian side was the recent reports made by the direct control of the Azerbaijani authorities. In it, the Azeri journalist claimed that the “Russian house” was actually spies.
