It was born from the need to thwart a type of scam widespread in China: criminals create the digital clone of a real person and use it to interact in video call. The victim on duty – whether he is a grandfather or an employee – is convinced of speaking with a real person – a grandson or head – and falls into the trap. It is an advanced version of the ‘grandson scam’ that we know well in Italy, but even more insidious because it plays on an image that seems real.

Honor has developed a system on Magic7 which, based on the AI, warns if it is a fake image. Because no one better than the AI ​​can ‘squeeze’ the tricks of the AI.
