Since Tuesday, Garmin users from all over the world have been experiencing problems with their smartwatches. Different models remain stuck in the start -up screen.
Owners of the Forerunner, Venu, Fenix, Epix, VivoActive, Lily, Instinct or Marq watch from Garmin may no longer be able to use their smartwatch since Tuesday. The devices are hit by a software problem.
The watches get stuck in the start -up screen. Users get to see a blue triangle. Garmin is aware of the problems and advises users to hold down the on/off button until the device switches off, and then switch it back and synchronize it with the Garmin Connect app or Garmin Express. But according to various American news sites, that doesn’t work for everyone.
The problems would have to do with “starting a GPS activity,” says the brand’s spokeswoman for The Verge.
