US Defense Secretary Hegseth ordered to withdraw the security security team and consider Christmas General Mark Milley, who criticized President Trump.
“Defense Minister Pete Hegseth announced that he would recover the right to protect and suspend the right to approach the security of General Mark Milley,” the Pentagon spokesman John Ullyot said on January 28. “Minister Hegseth also directed the investigation of events and situations related to General Milley, in order to consider whether or not to decide on his function or not.”
General Millley was appointed Chairman of the US Army Chief of Staff in the first term of President Donald Trump, but the relationship between the two had plummeted during those 4 years.
Mr. Trump was angry after Milley told journalist Bob Woodward that he was “fascist” and “dangerous people”. Millley also revealed that she secretly called Chinese counterpart after the Capitol riots in January 2021 to reassure Beijing that Washington “remained stable”.
Mr. Trump once wrote on social network Truth Social that “if in the past, Milley would face death sentence.”

Mr. Millley retired with the rank of General, but at risk of being demoted if Minister Hegseth decided to re -evaluate. General Milley’s portrait at the Pentagon, in order to honor the service of the former chairman of the US Coalition Chief of Staff, was taken down on the day when Mr. Trump was sworn in.
The portrait movement took place after former President Joe Biden pardoned Milley and many people confronted Mr. Trump in the last days of his term. Mr. Trump repeatedly announced that he would “take revenge” of political opponents and threaten to prosecute some people.
Biden explained the decision to pardon to protect Milley and others from “political motivations” under the new government.
Before Millley, the Trump administration also decided to cut the former national security adviser John Bolton, former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and Brian Hook, former high -ranking policy advisor of Mr. Pompeo, as well as an epidus expert. Anthony Fauci, who once advised how to deal with Covid-19.
