Insurance company Sampon The Board of Directors has decided to implement the share spectrum in a proportion to the shareholders’ ownership. The decision is based on the authorization received from the Sampo Annual General Meeting on April 25, 2024.

Split is made so that four new ones are created for each old share. The company’s number of shares is five times more, and thus the company’s share price will, in theory, decrease to one fifth as a result of Split.

In the event of a share issue, Sampo will give new shares to the shareholders registered on the shareholder on 12 February 2025 in proportion to the shareholders in proportion, with four new A shares and four new B shares per share per share.

A total of 2,152 191,088 new Sampo A-shares and 800,000 new B shares will be included. Following the registration of the new shares, the total number of Sampo shares is 2,691,238,860 shares.

The new shares will be registered in the Trade Register on 12 February 2025 and will be given free of charge in the book-entry system maintained by Euroclear Finland Oy. The new shares will be further registered as Swedish deposit certificates in the shareholder list maintained by Euroclear Sweden AB and in the VP Securities A/S register in Denmark.

The trading of new A shares is expected to begin on the Helsinki Stock Exchange, the Stockholm Stock Exchange (in the form of a Swedish deposit certificate) and the Copenhagen Stock Exchange (in the form of equity rights) on February 13, 2025.

Equity plugging does not require any action from the shareholders or the holders of Swedish deposit certificates and does not affect Sampo’s ISIN codes.
