The court arrested 20 million shekels from the money of PA on the claim of the family of Rina Schnerb

The petition was filed within the framework of a lawsuit based on the law on the payment of compensation to the victims of terror (demonstrative sanctions), which entered into force in the summer of 2024.

The amount of the claim is calculated on the basis of 10 million shekels of compensation for the death of Rina and 5 million shekels for the disability of her father and brother.

On August 23, next to the Ein-Buvin source near the village of Dolev (South Samaria, the Mate-Bignamin regional council), an explosive device worked. As a result of the explosion, a 17-year-old Israeli, Rina Schner, died. The 19-year-old brother of Rina, Dvir Chaim, received severe injuries. The 46-year-old rabbi Eitan Schnerb, the father of Rina, was injured in moderate severity.

Eitan Schnerb said that he, along with Dvir and Rina, came to the Ein-Buvin source at about 10 a.m. He was surprised that on Friday morning this popular vacation spot was deserted. The explosion was heard when the family went from the car to the source. According to Eitan Schnerba, Rina took the main blow.

The terrorist attack next to the Ein Buvin source was performed using a home-made explosive device with additional damaging objects.

A month later, four terrorists involved in the explosion were detained. All detainees were militants of the Popular Front of the Liberation of Palestine. All of them lived in the area of ​​Ramalla and planned new terrorist attacks, including the abduction of the Israelis.
