Sony compensates with additional 5 days in PlayStation Plus for the fall of PS Network

Sony will offer subscription users PlayStation Plus five additional days in compensation for the fall that this weekend has experienced the PlayStation Network platform.

The PlayStation online game platform has experienced this weekend a global service drop due to an “operational problem”, which has already been recovered, although Sony has preferred not to give more details.

And by way of compensation, “All PlayStation Plus members will automatically receive additional 5 days of service”he said.

The service drop began at midnight on Saturday, February 8 (Peninsular Spain, around 3:00 p.m. on Friday PST), which prevented the service from connecting with servers and users could not log in or play online. The recovery has been gradual and has been completed in the early hours of Sunday, February 9.
