“The right side has taken a little color from the pelvis, but there was nothing more serious there,” Järvelä told Yle.

Järvelä admits that Sunday’s “pans” were the worst of his career. He has never had to interrupt competition for the fall.

However, the electric cabinet was properly protected by the skier, which could even save him from worse injuries.

“It was even fortunate that it was there because the downhill drop down would have been even higher. However, that padded electrical cabinet grabbed a little, ”says Järvelä.

The skier admits that he would have wanted to rise to the headlines in some other way. He is partly grateful that the scary crash was not shown on television pictures.

“But honestly, I would like to see what happened in it,” he says.
