Girls and women in science still face systematic obstacles: UNESCO

The Federal Government acknowledged that girls and women still face obstacles to accessing educational and labor opportunities, mainly in the field of science, engineering, mathematics and technology.

In the context of International Women and Girl Day in Science, teachers, researchers and young people highlighted in the field of science called to promote actions to end gender stereotypes, as well as to generate initiatives that guarantee free access of girls and women to knowledge and high specialty jobs.
