At the London Culture Institute the photographic journey in Italy by Luigi Ghirri

The shots exhibited in the halls of Belgrave Square are not only signed by Luigi Ghirri, are also by Olivo Barbieri, Gabriele Basilico, Gianantonio Battistella, Vincenzo Castella, Andrea Cavazzuti, Giovanni Chiaramonte, Mario Cresci, Vittore Fossati, Carlo Garzia, Guido Guidi, Shelley Hill, Mimmo Jodice, Gianni Leone, Claude Nori, Umberto Sartorello, Mario Tinelli, Ernesto Tuliozi, Fulvio Ventura and Cuci White.

“They tell a new Italy compared to the 1800 Grand Tour. A different and beautiful Italy because it is true, illustrated by images that, forty years ago as today, allow us to communicate and transmit the image of a non -stereotyped Italy , but of thought. “He tells a place always to be rediscovered, Italy – he adds – because Italy is perhaps a state, perhaps it is a nation and an ethnic intersection, but it is certainly what the artists see”. Promoted by the Directorate General Contemporary Creativity of the Ministry of Culture, by the Mufoco and the Italian Culture Institute of London, in collaboration with the Eredi Archive of Luigi Ghirri. The exhibition can be visited until March 28th.
