Ukrainian secret agent ‘spying’ for Moscow

The Ukrainian secret services (SBU) have communicated the arrest of their high official accused of having passed information to Russia. “It was discovered that the Chief of Staff of the SBU anti -terrorism center was working on the enemy”, announced the Ukrainian services in a declaration published on Telegram, where we talk about an “extremely complex” operation to unmask the alleged Spy, which would be involved in over 14 illegal operations.

The SBU explains that, through the suspect, Moscow was trying to collect “confidential information” on Ukrainian armaments, “on the state of critical infrastructures”, “on the results of the missile attacks, on the data of the leading managers of the country and the functioning of the registers state “. It has been known that Russia has for some time explained in the Ukrainian military and security apparatus, although the Russian attack resistance and the failure of the offensive on Kiev in the spring of 2022 have shown the limits of Moscow’s intelligence. The Ukrainian authorities have nevertheless accused hundreds of people of having sent military information to Russia after the invasion of February 2022.
