Stock Exchange Distributive Mood: Neste rushes drastically, Finnair steep rise

Fuel manufacturer Neste’s stock will plunge on Thursday exceptionally sharply. The company’s share has fallen by about 12 percent by 12:15 pm on Thursday. It is one of the steepest day bills of this decade.

Neste told about deep losses on Thursday. Neste’s October -December operating profit last year was EUR 110 million. The result before taxes was 160 million at a loss, and the whole year was also loss -making.

As early as 2023, Neste made EUR 1.7 billion operating profit.

On Thursday, Neste reported on change negotiations, which will result in about 600 jobs. Reducing and other savings measures are set to cost savings of EUR 65 million.

On the second day of interest, the Airline Finnair has been completely different. The share has fired more than 16 % by 12.15. For Finnair, it is one of the most powerful daily boys.

In connection with its earnings publication, Finnair said it intended to reward its shareholders for a long time.

The Board of Directors of the Company proposes to the General Meeting that a capital refund of EUR 0.11 per share be distributed to shareholders. The company last distributed a dividend of the 2018 result.

Neste and Finnair are both so -called folk stocks, meaning they have a lot of ordinary Finns.

So far, the Helsinki Stock Exchange has been positive on Thursday. By 12:15 pm, the general index on the stock exchange was about 0.5 %.
