‘Full Metal Jacket’ actor Kevyn Major Howard (69) died

Kevyn Major Howard died at the age of 69. His family reports this to entertainment website TMZ. The actor is best known for his role as ‘Rafterman’ in Full Metal Jacket.

In the presence of his friends and family, Kevyn Major Howard died in a hospital in Las Vegas, according to TMZ. The precise cause of death – the actor was 69 – still has to be determined. According to his family, he had been in the hospital for some time after breathing problems.

The actor, best known to us for his role as ‘Rafterman’ in the film Full Metal Jacket, had built up a nice record. Since his move to Los Angeles, Kevyn comes from Montreal, Canada, he played together with Clint Eastwood, Charles Bronson, Frank Sinatra and Matthew Modine.

With the latter, he even kept a year of friendship. Modine, who would have called him with him just before the death of Kevyn, wrote a catchy message on ‘X’. “Kevyn gave and gave and gave the world so much, especially to the men and women who are part of the army.
