The Council of Ministers of Lebanon extended the suspension of flights from Iran. Earlier, the authorities of Lebanon notified Tehran that flights of Iranian airlines in Beyut were suspended at least until February 18.
It was expected that by February 18 the Israeli defense army would complete the withdrawal of its forces from South Livan. However, this will not happen. Last week, the head of the Arab department of the press service of the IDAL, Colonel Avihai Edrai, said that Beirut International Airport is used by the Iranian “Corps of the Sentinel of the Islamic Revolution” to transfer money to Hizballle, and Israel will not allow the re-equipment of the group. Soon after this, the authorities of Lebanon announced that the Rafik Hariri airport would not temporarily receive Iranian airlines. This decision caused the indignation of the supporters of the Hizballs, who hold mass protests near the airport.
