“I will be happy to meet Trump, I haven’t seen him for a long time,” Russian President Vladimir Putin told reporters in St. Petersburg today.
The Russian leader did not mention the deadlines for possible negotiations, emphasizing only that “the meeting should be prepared to be a result.” The Russian President also noted that no one is going to leave Ukraine out of the negotiation process.
However, Putin is not in the same opinion for Europeans.
“We are not speculating what is happening between the United States and Europe today, but the criteria for all this are Europeans,” commenting on the contradictions between a number of countries in Washington and EU countries.
“Trump’s restraint against European leaders is surprised, given what those people did before the election,” Putin said.
