Inside, the Legion Go S integrates an AMD Ryzen Z2 GO processor, developed exclusively for Lenovo, flanked by a RAM memory configuration that can go up to 32GB of LPDDR5X type 7500 MHz. The power supply is provided by a battery 3 cells of 55.5 WHR. From a constructive point of view, the device has a declared weight of 730 grams and includes two front speakers of 2W each. Connectivity is guaranteed by the 6E Wi-Fi support, two USB 4 ports and a microSD cards reader for memory expansion. Lenovo underlines the possibility of connecting the Legion Go S to external display and other peripherals, transforming it into a modular game solution.

For the management of temperatures, Lenovo has implemented Legion Coldfront technology, designed to maintain the device at optimal operating temperatures even during prolonged game sessions. The controllers, called Legion Truestrike, are described as ergonomic and equipped with adjustable triggers to adapt to different types of game. At the software level, the Legion Go S includes Legion Space, an application that acts as a centralized hub for access to different platforms and games store. It also allows you to view the titles installed locally and to buy new ones via the Legion Game Store, which offers access to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate (with three months included in the purchase of the device) and discounts on Gamesplanet for users registered with a Lenovo id. Legion Space also allows quick settings such as resolution, updating and brightness frequency of the screen.
