China made a 330-meter oil production vessel-the first world of the world

In China, the world’s first FPSO (Storage and Offload Unit), FPSO (FPSO), has been completed in China. As its name suggests, the ship is able to produce, store and disassemble liquefied gas, oil and oil refines.

The ship is 330 meters long. It can produce 120,000 barrels of crude oil a day.

The platform is presented with a short video by state -owned CCTV shared in X.

Carbon dioxide recovery is known as CCS (Carbon Capture and Storage). Carbon dioxide can be grabbed in connection with an emission source, such as a heavy industry factory, or directly from the atmosphere.

In the Chinese ship, carbon dioxide is recovered during oil production. For example, similar vessels use gas turbines, which significantly access carbon dioxide to the atmosphere.

In addition to carbon capture recovery, electricity from the heat of the exhaust gases is produced on board.

The ship has been made by state -owned Cosco Ocean Shipping Heavy Industry Company.

Similar solutions have also been made elsewhere in the world. In the United States, for example, the American Bureau of Shipping is planning an ammonia platform, which will build a recovery system.
