XV of France: Emmanuel Maefou and Romain Buros back in the group to prepare Ireland

The second Toulouse line Emmanuel Meafou, package against Italy due to a pulmonary infection, appears in the group of 42 players called on Saturday by the coach of the XV of France to prepare the match against Ireland, cash for the 4th day of the tournament.

But it appears well in the group called by Fabien Galkié, making a little more credible the return of a second 100 % Toulouse line with Thibaud Flament, as during the November tests and during the 2024 tournament, but for the first time this year in the Six Nations.

Other returns, those from the rear of Bordeaux-Bègles Romain Buros, who resumed training on Monday after having treated a sprain of the ankle, and the right pillar Bayonnais Tevita Tatafu, embarrassed by a new injury before the match against England.

The pillar of the Irish province of Leinster Rabah Slimani, present in all the gatherings of the tournament without having played, does not appear this time in the group. The center of Racing 92 Gaël Fickou, the opening half of the Union Bordeaux-Bègles Matthieu Jalibert or the winger of Pau Théo Attissogbe, in particular, are still there.

France, second in the tournament after three days (11 points) travels to Ireland, leader and the only team still in the race for the Grand Chelem (14 points) on Saturday March 8 (3:15 p.m.). A victory in Dublin would allow him to take the lead before the last day.
