Not just for vegetarians: all the benefits of tofu
The tofu is popular with the vegetarian and vegan public, thanks to the fact that it serves as a substitute for animal protein such as meat, chicken or fish. Its combination of the menu is recommended for the general population, thanks to the fact that it serves as a good source of protein, mineral vitamins and more.

Tofu is a soy -based food from soybeans, water and a group of ingredients called clotting materials. It is originated in China, but today it is eaten all over the world. You can enjoy it in different ways: bouncing, evaporation and cooking, and it has some benefits to pay attention to.

Reduces the chance to suffer certain cancers

Soy safety has been severely controversial for years, due to animal studies that have linked eating to an increased chance of getting some cancer types. Information was that the risk was due to the way certain compounds in soy products could act similarly to estrogen in the body (certain types of cancer cells need estrogen to grow). However, studies conducted among humans have violated it, and found a soybean safe for food. Furthermore, soy consumption may help prevent breast cancer, and contributes to a reduced chance of recurrence of growth in patients and breast cancer.

According to the American Cancer Association (ACS) Consuming traditional soy foods, such as tofu, may lower the risk of breast, prostate and endometrial cancer, and may also be in other cancers.

How much tofu should you consume?

Moderate soy consumption of up to three servings a day (dose – 100 g) is safe and may provide the body with health benefits, including patients and breast cancer. As for people who are allergic to soy, the recommendation is to avoid eating tofu to prevent an allergic reaction.
