Mr. Zelensky is willing to see Mr. Trump again to ‘talk seriously’

“We deserve an equal dialogue. If the US President invited me to attend a constructive dialogue, to solve real problems, towards serious issues and actions, decisive and decisive actions, I will attend,” Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said in an interview on March 2, after attending European Summit in London.

The statement was made by President Zelensky after a fierce argument with US President Donald Trump during a White House meeting on February 28. Disagreement caused Zelensky to leave the White House early and did not sign the mineral agreement as expected to the US.

The Ukrainian president said that the organization of such a dialogue publicly, in front of a series of reporters, was not good for both Ukraine and the United States. He also refused the reporter’s request for answering in English to avoid any misunderstandings.

“I believe the situation will be fine and the more important things are still ahead,” the Ukrainian leader expressed optimism. Zelensky added Ukraine is still ready to sign a mineral agreement with the US.

On the aircraft from London, Zelensky posted a message to the people, confirming that peace negotiations will take place with the participation of Ukraine, Europe and “certainly” as the United States.

“Of course, we understand the importance of America, and we are grateful for the support of America,” he said.

After the controversy between the US – Ukrainian leader, the Kremlin on March 3 accused Ukraine who did not want peace, and criticized President Zelensky “lack of diplomatic capacity”.

The Ukrainian leader posted on Telegram that “those who want to negotiate will not deliberately attack others with ballistic missiles,” said Russia to launch more than 1,050 unmanned aircraft (UAVs), nearly 1,300 bombs and more than 20 missiles into Ukraine last week.
