US President Donald Trump promised to stop federal financing of educational institutions that allow student protests.

“The federal financing of colleges, schools or universities will be completely discontinued, which allow illegal protests. Agitators will be imprisoned or sent to the countries from which they arrived. American students will be forever excluded, or, depending on the crime, arrested,” Trump wrote on the Truth social network.

The number of protests at American universities was significantly reduced after the victory of Donald Trump in the elections. In the early days at the presidential post, he signed a decree that allows you to deport foreign students from the United States who participated in anti -Israeli protests, riots in campus, expressing support to Hamas after attacks on October 7. At the end of January, another decree was issued on additional measures to combat anti -Semitism.
