Train diverted by separatists in Pakistan, 190 passengers freed

The Pakistani security forces freed 190 passengers from the train seized from the liberation front of Bellucistan. The operation, which saw the elimination of 30 of the terrorists, is still ongoing. 450 passengers traveled on the train.

The train traveled from Quetta to Peshawar. Some of the terrorists wore explosive jackets. The Liberation Army of Bellucistan (BL) said they had eliminated 20 members of the security forces and that they have initially taken more than 180 people hostage, threatening to execute them if the security forces had intervened.

“The terrorists used women and children like shields. The security forces surrounded the terrorists and the exchange of continuous gunshots,” added a source.
