Estonia proposes to leave Hungary without vote in the EU for “systematically” common interests

The Estonia Government has advocated Friday for stripping Hungary of its right to vote within the EU for “systematically” torpedo “measures that are theoretically in the common interest, after in recent days the Viktor Orbán executive has once again unchecked on key issues such as the response to war in Ukraine and the reinforcement of the defense.

Tsahkna has spoken after the last minute agreement to extend individual sanctions against Russia for the invasion of Ukraine, after the Hungarian authorities pressed to take certain people out of the blacklist. Finally, seven of them have already died.
