In Odessa, a suspect of the murder of activist Demyan Galan was detained

A suspect of the murder of a Ukrainian public figure, volunteer, founder and head of the Street Front Demyan Galan was detained. Information about his detention was confirmed by the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Igor Klimenko.

The suspect is a 46-year-old deserter, the Ukrainian Security Service said. A weapon was found in the apartment where he was hiding, with the help of which a crime was probably committed

According to the SBU, the investigative and operational measures continue, the possible motives of the crime are being worked out, including the version regarding the custom-made nature of the murder, as well as the “Russian trace”.
