Many F1 personalities have honored Eddie Jordan.
F1 driver Valtteri Bottas has remembered the late Irish legend Eddie Jordania Instagram update.
Bottas shared a black and white picture of him and Jordan. In the picture, Jordan interviews a smiling Finn, hand brotherly on his shoulder.
In the cover text, Bottas writes touchingly about the former F1 team manager.
“Rest in peace, Eddie Jordan. Thanks for all the laughter over the years and for all the good things you’ve done in life and F1.”
Bottas competed in the F1 series in 2013-2024. Currently, he is the test and deputy driver of Mercedes and will be at the top of the race driver for next season.
In the years The Jordan title stable in the 1991-2005 F1 series competed among others Michael and Ralf Schumacher.
Ralf Schumacher remembered his former team manager on Instagram.
“I can’t believe you have lost your battle against the disease. Thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to start my F1 career in your stables. I will forever grateful to you for that,” Schumacher wrote.
Jordan also offered Michael Schumacher his first chance in F1 in 1991.
Also Kimi Räikkönen McLaren year teammate Pedro de la Rosa In X, Jordan praised that he gave De la Rosa his first chance in the F1 series.
Red Bull team manager Christian Horner praised Jordan on Instagram.
“Formula 1 has lost the legend and we miss his cleverness and Irish charm,” Horner wrote, among other things.
