Apple has announced the performance of the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) in virtual mode, scheduled from 9 to 13 June 2025. In parallel, on June 9 an inaugural event will be held in presence at the Apple Park, offering developers and students the opportunity to participate. The WWDC25, free access to the developer community, will focus on the most recent innovations in the Apple software landscape. In line with the company supporting company policy, the conference will guarantee access to the teams of Apple experts, as well as providing detailed information on new tools, framework and functionality. Susan Prescott, Vice President of Worldwide Developer Relations of Apple, said: “The commitment to want to share this new edition of the WWDC with the community of developers globally is confirmed. The goal is to present the tools and technologies that will facilitate the innovation process of each developer”.
After the Keynote, participants will be able to deepen Apple’s software and technological news through sessions available on the Apple Developer App, on the Apple Developer website and on the Apple Developer YouTube channel. The conference program will include video sessions and online workshops, offering direct interactions with Apple’s engineering and design teams. For the event in the presence of 9 June at the Apple Park, developers will be able to attend the Keynote and Platforms State of the Union, interact with Apple experts through individual and group workshops, and participate in dedicated activities. The availability of the seats is limited and details for registration can be consulted on the WWDC25 website. Apple confirms its support to the new generations of developers through the Swift Student Challenge, part of the support programs for the future community of entrepreneurs, developers and designers. The winners of the Challenge, who will be announced on March 27, will be able to apply for the event in the presence of the Apple Park. In addition, 50 “Distinguished Winner” will receive an invitation for a three -day experience in Cupertino, California.
