Former UFC, Mariusz Ksiazkiewicz knockouts being stabbed in the chest

Former UFCu, the German Mariusz Ksiazkiewicz was stabbed in the chest last Wednesday (27), while taking the trash from home to the street, in the city of Winnipeg, Canada.

The athlete has participated in the UFC Contends in 2020, and is currently preparing to debut at the Global Fight League (GFL).

The case happened during a domestic task of the medium fighter that almost ended in tragedy.

The 35 -year -old reports that he put his daughters to sleep and then went through the door of the back of the house towards the place designated for garbage collection across the street.

Also according to Ksiazkiewicz, it was at this moment that he was surprised by a hooded aggressor, who stabbed him. Not even noticing the blow immediately, the fighter reacted with quick blows, knocking out the aggressor, who fell unconscious.

It was then that the German realized the serious chest injury.

The athlete reported the moment. “I went a step forward and my chest was burning. When I touched the area, I realized that my hand was soaked with blood,” he told Uncrowned.

“That’s when I realized it had been stabbed.”

The fighter was very close to death. The lesion caused by the knife drilled the muscle of the fighter’s breastplate and passed millimeters from the heart and pulmy.

Despite the severity of the injuries, the German managed to return into the house, lock the door and trigger a neighbor to take care of their daughters. Then he drove alone to the hospital.

“When I arrived at the reception, I was asked what I needed. I said, ‘I was stabbed my chest. I need help immediately,'” he said.

The exams pointed out that no vital organ was affected.

The athlete was discharged hours later and already returned to training. “Against the doctor’s orders,” said Ksiazkiewicz, who keeps the plans to fight in June by GFL. The Canadian police investigate the case.
