Montreal confirmed: Patrik Laine cut

Patrik Laine’s injury endangers even the Olympics.

NHL:n Finnish forward of the Montreal Canadiens Patrik Laine has been cut. Laine has been sidelined for the club’s most recent matches, and a few days ago it was reported that Laine had asked the doctors for a new assessment of his injury.

The answer was first given to the rumors that there is trouble in the same knee as last season, when Laine was on the sidelines for a long time.

(GM of Montreal) Kent Hughes assured that Laine’s lower body injury has nothing to do with the knee injury he suffered in September of last year. It’s something completely new,” told TVA Sports -kanavan Jonathan Bernier.

On Saturday The Canadiens said that Laine will be sidelined for 3-4 months. The injury was said to be in the middle of the body.

Laine’s early season has been sad in the rink. In his five matches, he has caught just one assist, shot on goal six times and played an average of 12.5 minutes per game.

There are more than three months until the start of the upcoming Winter Olympics.
