The presenter and comedian Andreu Buenafuente has been “forced to take a temporary break in his professional schedule to rest and recover” for reasons of “excessive workload” and due to “medical prescription.”
This was announced this Friday by the Communication and Participation Department of RTVE in a comment published in X, collected by Europa Press.
“I have to stop a little to recover and return with the energy that everything I do deserves. Thank you for the understanding, support and affection,” explains Andreu Buenafuente himself in a statement broadcast by RTVE on social networks.
The announcement comes days after it was learned that the presenter of ‘Futuro Imperfecto’ on La 1 was chosen by the Corporation to present the New Year’s Eve Chimes, along with his partner, the actress and comedian Silvia Abril. RTVE sources, consulted by Europa Press, have confirmed that Andreu Buenafuente will host the program on December 31.
