They dedicate performance to the dignity of women

Dancers from the National Ballet Company, in collaboration with Telephone Rosa, Big Mama, Diamante Produccion and Grana Padano, performed yesterday a performance in the Spanish Steps, in Rome, Italy, in the context of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women.

In a statement published on their social networks, the group, directed by Giacomo Molinari, explained that it was a show “dedicated to the love, respect and dignity of all women. An artistic gesture that seeks to illuminate what can no longer remain in the shadows. A moment of unity, awareness and shared responsibility. For women. With women. Always.”

Also known as 25N, this day seeks to make visible all forms of violence against women, adolescents and girls. According to the United Nations, the date marks the beginning of 16 days of activism that conclude on December 10, International Human Rights Day.
