Strategic technology products such as robots, UAVs, and AI will be demonstrated at the Make in Vietnam 2025 Forum, scheduled to be held on December 25.
The seventh National Forum for Developing Vietnam Digital Technology Enterprises (Make in Vietnam Forum) will take place at Vin Palace Co Loa Conference Center, Dong Anh, Hanoi.
At the regular press conference of the Ministry of Science and Technology held on the morning of December 1, Mr. Truong Huu Chung, Head of the Trade and Investment Promotion Department, Department of Information Technology Industry, said that this year the forum has the theme: Journey to create Make in Vietnam – Innovating digital production, building a strong and prosperous digital Vietnam.

He said that the forum will convey the Party and State’s major orientations on developing digital technology industry, strategic industry, semiconductor industry and AI application according to Vietnam’s approach. The goal is to promote innovation, stimulate Vietnamese intellectual creativity and connect the digital technology business community to form a strong ecosystem, capable of leading national digital transformation.
The event scale is about 1,500 delegates, representing Party agencies, the National Assembly, the Government, ministries, branches, localities, along with the business community, economic organizations, diplomatic agencies and foreign investors. Not only is it a place to share policy directions, the forum is also a place to display and demonstrate technology products developed by Vietnamese businesses.
The highlight is the strategic technology product demonstration area, where robots, UAVs, AI platforms and more than 50 typical digital technology products will be introduced. The experience booths are arranged in eight categories, allowing visitors to interact directly with products.

At the event, the Organizing Committee will summarize the Make in Vietnam journey for the period 2020-2025 and develop development orientation for the next period 2026-2030. The Minister of Science and Technology will award certificates of merit to organizations, businesses and individuals that have made positive contributions to the implementation of this policy.
An activity that many businesses are interested in is the Make in Viet Nam 2025 Digital Technology Product Award ceremony, which takes place on the same day as the exhibition. According to Mr. Chung, the Department of Information Technology Industry – the agency that presides over the award – organized meetings of the jury board and a subcommittee to score the applications for the Award.
Make in Vietnam 2025 Forum is divided into two parts. The morning was a high-level forum session with the participation of leaders of ministries and businesses. The afternoon included two thematic discussion sessions: Mastering and developing strategic digital technology; Vietnamese digital technology enterprises reach out globally.
