Croatian Infinum is expanding: They bought British experts for defense against hackers, there are millions lying there

The Croatian IT company Infinum has taken a majority stake in the British company AMR CyberSecurity specialized in cyber security. This is Infinum’s second acquisition in 2025, after it bought a Dutch agency at the beginning of the year Your Majesty.

AMR CyberSecurity operates primarily on the British market, and provides services to clients from various sectors, including telecommunications, finance, and defense and national security. Their clients include Zoom, Anglian Water, English Heritage and Premier Lotteries Ireland. The company holds relevant industry certificates, and director Martin Walsham is a member of the executive board of UK CREST, an international association for cyber security.

Infinum says that with the acquisition they want to expand their capacities in the area of digital product protection, especially in the context of growing security threats and strict European regulations such as NIS2. With the integration of AMR’s team, Infinum’s cybersecurity department grows to nearly 30 professionals.

The takeover also opens up new opportunities for the employees of both companies: AMR’s team gets access to more international projects and production resources, while Infinum’s engineers will have the opportunity to collaborate with specialists for advanced security solutions.

In the last three years, Infinum invested 11 million euros in acquisitions. With a loan from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and own reinvested funds, an additional 15 million euros have been secured for future takeovers in the next two years.

– With this acquisition, Infinum further strengthens its position on the United Kingdom market, which is in line with our strategy of business growth and diversification. In the coming years, we expect cyber security services to account for around 10 percent of our global revenues – said Nikola Kapraljevi, CEO of Infinum.

Today, Infinum operates from eight offices in Europe, the United Kingdom and the USA, with more than 400 employees.
