Raphael returns to Icónica Sevilla Fest five years later with a new album in a concert on June 18

Icónica Santalucía Sevilla Fest announces one of the most anticipated events of its 2026 edition: Raphael’s concert, who will return to the Plaza de España on June 18 with ‘Raphaelísimo’, the show with which the artist from Linares (Jaén) celebrates an “absolutely unique” career in Spanish-language music.

The legendary singer, recognized at the Latin Grammy 2025 as ‘Person of the Year’, thus returns to Icónica after having been one of the protagonists of its first edition in 2021, “an unforgettable concert that became one of the founding milestones of the festival,” as the promoter, Green Cow Music, points out in a statement.

Five years later, Raphael returns to the same stage to write a new chapter in his history with Seville and the Plaza de España. ‘Raphaelísimo’ is a “superlative proposal” that brings together the anthems that have marked several generations – ‘I am that one’, ‘My big night’, ‘Escandalo’ – together with the songs from his “celebrated” album ‘Yesterday… still’, a “delicate tribute to the French chanson and to such emblematic figures as Édith Piaf or Charles Aznavour.”

The tour, which begins in May 2025, is presented as an “emotional journey guided by the imposing voice and unrepeatable interpretive ability of Raphael: an artist whose authenticity and passion on stage continue to conquer audiences of all ages, transcending genres and conquering rock lovers, followers of indie music and faithful of melodic songs alike.”

With more than six decades of experience, Raphael continues to be an “essential name” in Spanish musical culture. In this way, ‘Raphaelísimo’ is emerging as one of the great cultural events of 2026, a show in which “the magic of the artist reaches its maximum expression and turns each concert into an unforgettable experience.”

Icónica Santalucía Sevilla Fest 2026 has so far confirmed the presence of Aitana (June 4 and 5), Viva Sweden (June 7), Pablo Alborán (June 12), Raphael (June 18), Isabel Pantoja & Il Divo (June 27), Dani Fernández (June 28), Marilyn Mason (July 6), Moby (July 7), Jamiroquai (July 16) and Sting (July 18 July).

In the coming months, the festival will announce the rest of the names that will complete an “eclectic, diverse and first-class” lineup. With record numbers achieved in five editions, Icónica 2025 closed its doors last July with an edition full of iconic names in music of all time, such as Justin Timberlake, Chayanne, Pet Shop Boys, Maná, Residente, Cypress Hill, Megadeth, Madness, Jean-Michel Jarre or Kylie Minogue, among many others.

Sevilla Fest highlights the fact that the festival has managed to position itself as “one of the main experiential and musical events in Europe”, bringing together 277,000 attendees in the Plaza de España in 2025, and an economic impact of 230 million (sum of 155 million of direct economic impact on the city, and 75 million of media impact, according to data from Icónica), which has once again positioned the festival as the private event with the greatest impact over the city, and the third after its two main festivals: the April Fair and Holy Week.
